The goGB Group, made up of goGB & goGB Cargo, has today (6th August) announced it will be receiving an additional B738s to support with its passenger operations next Summer. This is in addition to the already 11-strong fleet of Boeing 737-800s.

The group’s interim director, Jack Wilkinson, comments that “these wet-lease additions to our fleet will mean we can fly an extra 793,000 passengers throughout the Summer”. The additional aircraft are expected to come from north European wet-lease charter companies, through an ACMI agreement, although the names and details aren’t confirmed to va.info at this time.

What is clear, is that goGB is anticipating a busier peak than originally expected, despite the virtual airline’s development taking over 18 months to flourish.
